Living Room Ideas in our Miraflores Project
Our client asked for a modern and colourful living room, that still felt cozy and functional for a growing family.
The Inspiration
“The living room idea came from mixing their existing blue sofa with a honey mustard colour palette.”
Being an open-plan living and dining room, we decided to keep the dining room minimal and neutral so that it wasn’t at odds with the rest of the room.
In this particular space, it was being used as a playroom during the day; but they wanted it to feel like a relaxing adults zone when their little ones went to sleep. Our suggestion as the living room designer, was to build some custom cabinetry which doubled as a storage solution for the kids toys at the end of the day.
It is always important to create both beautiful and functional spaces, so understanding each clients individual needs is an important part of our job as your interior designer. That might be the source of our design ideas!
